Ihor Khmil

Ihor Khmil was born in Ivano-Frankivsk in 1962. From an early age, he displayed a talent for painting, which he further honed in art school. He later pursued his studies at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at Ivano-Frankivsk Pedagogical Institute. The enchanting world of art captivated him so deeply that painting became his life’s main pursuit.

The artist currently lives and works in Ivano-Frankivsk and frequently participates in art exhibitions both in Ukraine and abroad. He has gained a reputation as a master of still life in the hyperrealism style, impressing audiences with his precision and attention to detail. His vibrant urban landscapes are also well-known. Khmil has created numerous works featuring landscapes of his native Ivano-Frankivsk, as well as Lviv, Kyiv, and other cities.
