Volodymyr Kovalov

Volodymyr Kovalov, began his artistic education at the Kharkiv Art College and later graduated from the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts in 2010 with a specialization in easel painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts.

Observation and direct engagement with nature play a crucial role in his work. Volodymyr’s paintings offer viewers a chance to see ordinary things from the unique perspective of an artist. For him, the canvas and paint become tools to bridge the gap between his personal perception of the world and the surrounding reality.

Since 2010, Volodymyr has taught painting at the Kharkiv Art College. He has been participating in national and international plein air events since 2006 and has regularly showcased his work in regional and national exhibitions since 2003.
