Night City Lights

Sergey Polyakov paints a wide city avenue at dusk: streams of cars and red tail lights, lit shop fronts, a tall glass tower against a pale evening sky. Soft, fluid oil brushwork in pink, gray and warm red. The long horizontal canvas (50 × 90 cm) emphasises the flow of traffic, and the blurred lights give a sense of speed.
