Description
Red poppies, golden-orange flowers and blue cornflowers explode out of a turquoise vase against a deep ultramarine background. Mher Chatinyan is Armenian, and his color comes from the sun and mountains he grew up with. Pure oil color goes on in thick dabs and dots, with tiny sparks of yellow and white like confetti. The dark blue ground makes everything blaze.
