Blossoming Almond

White almond blossom spreads out of a round white vase over a lace napkin, with a few red cherries and sprigs of yellow mimosa, all against bright turquoise.

Natalia Yampolskaia also works in batik and felting, and you can tell: the picture is flat, patterned and decorative, the lace drawn as a pattern of holes, the turquoise framed by soft pink edges. Spring in a very cheerful key.
