Daffodils

Description
The title says daffodils, but what Galya Symchych actually painted are dahlias: big coral, salmon and raspberry heads with spiky curling petals, tumbling down the sheet with a few tight buds.
It is one of her richest watercolors. Each petal goes from pale peach at the tip to deep magenta at the base, with dark accents in the centers for depth. Lively, warm and late-summer in mood.
