Description
Ivan Skorobogatov painted these white motor yachts in Sochi marina at sunset. The sky is streaked with pink and orange, and the color runs down into the still water in long smooth strokes.
The yachts are just a few crisp highlights; the water is broad, fluid sweeps of blue, lilac and coral. A quick, atmospheric oil study, tall and narrow (40 × 30 cm), that sailors usually like.
