Flight Over The City

A small white angel trailing a long ribbon flies over a city that does not exist: round towers, a spiral tower like Babel, domes, a classical portico, a cat sitting on a roof.

Matsegora paints the city in glowing ochre, teal and rose, with soft edges so it feels half remembered. The angel is tiny, and that is what gives the picture its lightness.
