Description

A bearded iris in full bloom: pale pink-lilac upper petals, deep violet ruffled falls, and a bright orange beard in the middle.

The washes go from almost white to deep purple, and the veins on the falls are drawn with a fine brush. That small flash of orange is what makes the flower come alive. Painted by Ukrainian watercolorist Galya Symchych in 2024.
