Nightlife Reflections

Sergey Polyakov's canal at night: tall houses, a bridge and moored boats, their glowing windows reflected in the water in streaks of red, orange and gold.

Warm, saturated color everywhere. The reflections are bold vertical strokes that are nearly abstract, while the architecture above is loose and lively. Romantic and full of life, like Amsterdam after dark.
