Description

A small white rowing boat on a quiet beach at dusk, the sun going down in a thin pink line over a silvery sea.

Sergey Polyakov studied at the Kyiv National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, and in a little study like this (18 × 24 cm, oil on cardboard) you see how few means he needs: gray, lilac, a touch of pink, smooth strokes. Calm and a bit lonely.
