Description
A traditional sailing boat moored by an old customs house topped with a golden ball, people on the quay, a bell tower in the distance, and calm green-gray water. Rychkov gives more than half the sheet to the water, painted in soft rhythmic strokes of green and silver, so the buildings and the boat sit on the horizon like a small stage. The warm, hazy sky and the golden ball add a glow.
