The Spilled Sky

Huge white cumulus clouds piled up in a bright turquoise sky, with a flock of gulls and only a thin strip of blue sea at the bottom.

Almost the whole square is sky, and that is what makes it so open. The clouds are thick, creamy layers of white, pink and pale blue; the gulls are tiny quick marks.

Natalia Yampolskaia's acrylic is the opposite of a cluttered painting, and works well in a bedroom or a bathroom.
