At the pier

A white motor boat with an orange stripe, tied up at the pier, its reflection breaking into blue and turquoise slabs.

Daniel Volkov paints with a loaded palette knife, so up close you see flat, thick pieces of color and from two meters you see a sunny harbor. Small (20 × 25 cm), oil on cardboard, and a good introduction to his style.
