Boat reflection

Calm water, a white boat with a red line along the hull, and its reflection dissolving into gray, teal and silver.

This small oil on cardboard is nearly abstract. Volkov builds the reflection from thick knife marks in cool grays and carries a few red touches down from the hull. A mooring line cuts across the lower left. Overcast and quiet, it would sit well in a study or a bathroom.
